Roster Moves: Browns Sign Three Players, Waive Five Others

Cleveland Browns made an abundance of roster moves on Friday afternoon.

Cleveland Browns are ending their week with an abundance of roster moves, they announced.

The team has signed three players while waiving six others. A familiar face in tight end Miller Forristall has been signed by the Browns. Linebacker Cam Bright and wide receiver Jalen Wayne are the other two players that Cleveland has added to their 90-man roster.

To make room for these three players, running back Nate McCrary, tackle Hunter Thedford and punter Joseph Charlton were waived. Additionally, both wide receiver Daylen Baldwin and cornerback Thomas Graham Jr. were waived with injury designations.

Baldwin suffered a hamstring injury in last night’s game, while Graham has a a ‘significant’ ankle injury that is going to sideline him for an extended time.

Forristall returns as a player that has played in six games for the Browns over the course of the last two seasons. He’s a third-year player from Alabama that has also spent time with the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad.

Bright hails from Washington, where he was an undrafted rookie after playing 64 college games between the Huskies and Pittsburgh. The 6-foot, 221-pound linebacker racked up 221 tackles in his collegiate career.

Kevin Stefanski mentioned today the Browns would bring in another wideout, which is Wayne. Wayne is an undrafted rookie out of South Alabama that originally signed with the Buffalo Bills. He produced nearly 2,000 receiving yards in college to go along with 14 touchdowns.
