In this story:

Two red hot teams collide in Denver on Sunday. The Browns has won three in a row and currently holds the top wild card spot in the AFC. The Broncos have won four straight and at 5-5 want what the Browns have.

Not so long ago the Broncos were considered the laughing stock of the AFC following an embarrassing 70-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins. They've found a way to put that behind them though and now find themselves right in the mix for a playoff spot in a tight AFC race thanks to an opportunistic defense and the steady play of QB Russell Wilson, who is having a solid season with a career high completion percentage of 69-percent.

Meanwhile, the Browns continue to be the most resilient team in football, finding ways to win despite a laundry list of injuries. They'll be tested again without star cornerback Denzel Ward this weekend and rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson back under center.

A win brings the Browns closer to a playoff berth. For the Broncos it thrusts them right into the playoff picture. Here's our staff predictions for Week 12:

Anthony Moeglin: Browns 17, Broncos 10

In another old school style game, the Browns come out on top with a late touchdown to beat the Broncos and move to 8-3. The Broncos are basically the Rocky Mountain Steelers. Both their offense and defense struggle but they force opponents into turnovers and a lot of them! The Browns will protect DTR with a safe gameplan and grind out another victory.

Anthony Poisal: Browns 13, Broncos 10

The Browns have been doing a lot of things right on the defensive side of the ball all season, and the Broncos have recently begun to click on offense — Russell Wilson hasn't thrown an interception since Oct. 12. I think the Browns end that streak here, however, and do just enough once again on offense to steal another win.

Brendan Gulick: Browns 19, Broncos 17

Spencer German: Browns 20, Broncos 16

With everything this team is dealing with, I'm jiving with the low scoring games these last few weeks. The Browns philosophy for winning games right now is riding the coattails of the defense, while the offense does just enough to win. Much like that 13-10 win over Pittsburgh last week, Cleveland is going to have to win this game ugly. Against the NFL's worst rushing defense there should be some opportunities to run the football, the Browns have to protect the rock. If they do that, I think the defense stifles the Broncos offense and they win yet another one-possession game.
