This is not good.

The Los Angeles Chargers have officially released their Friday injury report for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, and Austin Ekeler's status is not promising.

The team listed their starting running back as "doubtful" to play with his ankle injury, as he's yet to practice all week.

If Ekeler is unable to play, the Chargers would be missing one of football's best running backs. In Week 1, Ekeler rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown, to go along with his four receptions for 47 yards.

If Ekeler is unable to suit up, backup running back Joshua Kelley would likely get the bulk of the work.

In Week 1, Kelley had an impressive performance, rushing 16 times for 91 yards and a touchdown. Running backs Elijah Dotson and Isaiah Spiller could factor in, too.

We'll continue to update you on Ekeler's status, but it's not looking good for the star running back.
