Chargers Injury News: Austin Ekeler Present But Misses Thursday Practice
Chargers star running back Austin Ekeler misses Thursday's practice as he is still recovering from his ankle injury.
Ekeler missed LA's second game of the season against Tennesee, and things aren't looking promising for this upcoming weekend as they're set to take on the Minnesota Vikings.
The 28-year-old stud appeared to injure his ankle toward the end of the third quarter in the Miami game. Ekeler appeared on his podcast "Ekeler's Edge" and said he is taking it 'day-to-day' or 'week-to-week.'
Not exactly what you want to hear from your star running back, but the Chargers have plenty of weapons on offense to get the job done.
The odds aren't good for Ekeler to be out there come Sunday, but regardless, we'll keep a close eye on it and update you all when available.
