Chargers News: Bolts Announce Multiple New Coaching Staff Hires

The Chargers have been rounding out their staff.

The Los Angeles Chargers are close to finalizing their new coaching staff under HC Jim Harbaugh and GM Joe Hortiz.

Earlier today, the team announced a host of new training staff, including former strength and conditioning coach for Michigan, Ben Herbert.

To add to the new staff in place to ensure players are as strong as possible for the 2024 season, the team officially announced the addition of a multitude of new coaches.

Adding to the new coaching staff is Nick Hardwick as assistant offensive line coach, Jeff Carpenter as offensive quality control/wide receivers coach, Jonathan Goodman as offensive assistant/quarterbacks coach, Will Tukuafu as assistant defensive line coach, Mike Hiestand as defensive assistant coach, and Phil Serchia as offensive assistant.

Harbaugh has been plenty busy putting together a quality group that will help elevate the Chargers to new heights.

After finishing 5-12, the organization went a different direction by relieving both HC Brandon Staley and GM Tom Telesco of their duties.

Harbaugh is now aiming to get the team back to the playoffs, with the ultimate goal of winning "multiple" championships. Harbaugh is a proven winner, and we imagine the staff he is putting in place will give the team the best chance at rebounding.
