Chargers QB Justin Herbert burst into the scene and stole the hearts of Charger fans in his rookie season. Since entering the league, Herbert has been the most explosive, exciting, and talented quarterback in the NFL.

The 25-year-old is talented, but he's still young and can get way better than he is now. Justin has not reached his ceiling, and I believe he has no ceiling. With that being said, he has yet to win a playoff game and guide his team to excellence. Something is missing with Herbert, and his veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen could have the answer for that.

Allen appeared on FS1's "Speak" on Wednesday and talked about his quarterback. The veteran WR said Herbert can get better, and he needs that "Philip Rivers dawg" to reach that next level.

"It's the confidence to be who he is. He knows that he can make the throws, he knows that he can make the plays, he knows that he has guys around him that can make the plays around him as well. But the confidence to just be like 'F this' I'm about to do me."

"It's part of his personality. I tell him all the time, 'It's your team.' The way Phil [Philip Rivers] used to run a team, ain't nobody telling Phil nothing. We lose we're going to lose on Phil's terms. He's got to be able to take over the team."

Herbert is a phenomenal talent, but Keenan is right. He's humble, and that's part of his personality; however, he needs to have that DAWG in him when he's in between those lines. Screw being humble, he needs to let his instincts take over for the Chargers to reach another level.

The team will go as far as Herbert will let them. He is the engine that drives the Bolts, and if he does just that, LA will be elite.
