The Los Angeles Chargers' path in the AFC West just got a lot harder. Not only do they have to deal with the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, but the Las Vegas Raiders signed a massive upgrade to their defense.

Las Vegas agreed to terms on a massive deal with defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, formerly of the Miami Dolphins. He now creates a strong pass-rushing duo with Maxx Crosby, something the Chargers will have to be wary of when building their team.

Wilkins has dominated while in Miami, but now heading to the Raiders, he creates all sorts of issues. Teams can no longer double-team Crosby, as Wilkins can very easily cause havoc as well.

The Bolts will have to figure out a way to deal with the Raiders' defense when they play each other, namely by building a stronger offensive line. The Chargers' offseason was already a crucial one, but with their division getting stronger, it becomes more apparent for them to hit a home run.

New head coach Jim Harbaugh is a start, but the roster needs some overhaul. Los Angeles finished with a disappointing 5-12 record last season, so there is plenty of work to be done.
