#76 Redskins - Terry McLaurin, WR, Ohio State
OUTLOOK: Coached by former NFL WR Brian Hartline at Ohio State in 2018, former Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer has stated that McLaurin is one of the hardest working players he has ever been around. A two-time team captain, he was named offensive player of the game against Penn State despite not making a single catch, largely in part due to his fearless blocking. Excels as a gunner on special teams.
#77 Patriots - Chase Winovich, DE, Michigan
OUTLOOK: While lacking preferred height for an edge rusher, Winovich possesses a stout, compact frame with good overall weight distribution and long arms. A master at guessing the snap count, Winovich is quick enough to cross the face of tackles and make plays off the edge and excels on counter-moves, incorporating a carpenter's tool belt full of techniques to dip, rip and slip by opponents. He is an effective bull rusher, as well, showing impressive functional power and pad level to get underneath and drive back much larger opponents. While a straight-line rusher, Winovich compensates with anticipation and vision, adjusting his angles in pursuit with a high-revving, almost maniacal style sure to win over coaches. Physical wrap-up tackler who can separate the ball from the ball-carrier when he has a runway. Length and strength show up as a tackler. Stiff hipped and high cut, causing him to struggle to change direction. Forced to run a wide arc due to his core stiffness, limiting his effectiveness on twists and stunts. Despite some clear limitations, Winovich is at his best on the attack, projecting as an immediate sparkplug.
#78 Dolphins - Michael Deiter, OG, Wisconsin
OUTLOOK: A four-year starter, Deiter brings a wealth of experience and ability to adapt to multiple positions. His high energy and competitiveness has been contagious to the Wisconsin offensive front line. NFL teams will love him for his consistency, durability and dependability. The team who drafts Deiter will hopefully have plenty of maple syrup stored for the occasion because he appears ready to serve up some pancakes on Sunday for the next decade.
#79 Rams - David Long, CB, Michigan
OUTLOOK: It isn't often that a highly touted recruit out of Los Angeles who earned First Team all-conferences honor at Michigan can accurately claim to be nationally underrated but that might be the case with Long. He earned "just" third team accolades from Big Ten media members but was voted to the top squad by league coaches in 2018, prior to the talented junior cornerback announcing his plans to skip his senior season and enter the 2019 NFL draft. Long signed with Michigan as a celebrated four-star recruit. Long is a confident cover corner whose ideal blend of size and quickness has allowed him to shut down opponents the past two seasons. NFL teams will have to gauge how much the Wolverines' vaunted pass rush had to do with Long's success but the traits are there to project him as a top 100 pick.
#80 Browns - Sione Takitaki, OLB, Brigham Young
OUTLOOK: Takitaki is a flashy athlete well worth investigating. If teams are convinced that his immaturity is behind him, Takitaki is likely to earn a middle round selection. Projects as an immediate special teamer with the potential to ultimately compete for a starting role, most likely outside in a traditional 4-3 alignment.
