Ben Putman wore #7 at the HUB Football Camp. A compact, quick slot receiver, Putman runs excellent routes and understands how to create separation. He consistently left defenders in the dust due to crisp route running/footwork in and out of his breaks. In addition, he proved to be a dependable hands catcher and met with every team afterwards. It would not be surprising to see Putman, who was arguably the best player in attendance, make a 53-man roster if given the opportunity.
Background:
The 2018 Arizona Bowl hero majored in human development and family studies during his time at Nevada-Reno. In 2019 he was the team's primary return man giving the team a spark with 6 punts returned for 75 yards on the year and 11 kick returns with a long of 31 yards.
