GLENN HARRIS

Wayne State | S | #51 | 5114 | 193 | 0948 | 3248 | 7600 | Agent: Brian Miller

Evaluation:

A versatile defender, Harris has lined up at cornerback, nickelback, safety and also has long snapping as a part of his diverse repertoire. He possesses top-notch instincts and awareness—does a superb job of disguising coverage pre-snap. The Kansas City native flashes tremendous game speed and is able to keep up with just about any receiver step-for-step. In addition, he shows great lateral movement, along with excellent recovery speed and highly active hands, he breaks up a lot of passes. Brown demonstrated sound fundamentals, a smooth backpedal and fluid hips. He is quick to react and swarms to the football. At times, he can tend to struggle against some of the bigger-sized targets such as tight ends on occasion. Overall, Harris is an effective cover man, can play zone, or slide over to safety if needed. His flexibility makes him a valuable asset for any secondary unit.

Background:

Most recently played in the Fan Controlled Football League (FCF) in 2021, where he was one of the top performers and showed vast improvement. Played collegiately at Chabot College before transferring to Wayne State. From the Kansas City area.
