Penn State OT Olu Fashanu Suffers Injury at NFL Combine

One of the top offensive tackle prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft had to make an early exit from Sunday's workout.

The last day of on-field workouts at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine features a star-studded group of offensive linemen, but one of the biggest names had to make an early exit.

Penn State offensive tackle Olu Fashanu participated in the 40-yard dash, but suffered a thigh injury that will prevent him from taking part in the rest of the drills, per NFL Network's Stacey Dales.

Despite the injury, Fashanu is expected to be healthy in time to participate in the Nittany Lions' pro day later in the pre-draft process, according to Dales.

Widely regarded as one of the top tackle prospects in a loaded class, Fashanu could end up being a top-10 pick in this year's draft.

Here's hoping Fashanu was indeed able to avoid any major injury, and that he'll be back to full strength in plenty of time to show off at his pro day workout before the draft.
