Falcons Free Agency Target Bryce Huff Signs with Eagles

The Atlanta Falcons were viewed as a possible suitor for free agent Bryce Huff, but he will sign with the Philadelphia Eagles.

A potential free agency target for the Atlanta Falcons knows where he'll play next season.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles are signing Bryce Huff to a three-year deal worth $51.1 million.

A recent article from Pro Football Focus has named the Falcons a "perfect" fit for current New York Jets edge rusher Bryce Huff.

"Bryce Huff was a rotational player for the Jets, but he was an absolute weapon off the edge," PFF writes. "He finished tied for ninth in the NFL in pass-rush grade and trailed only Myles Garrett and Micah Parsons in pass-rush win rate. The Falcons could offer Huff the chance to play close to full-time if they can afford him."

With Huff gone, the Falcons will have to look elsewhere for a pass rusher in free agency. Among the potential options that could now be linked to Atlanta are Danielle Hunter (Minnesota Vikings), Chase Young (San Francisco 49ers) and Jadeveon Clowney (Baltimore Ravens).

Bud Dupree and Calais Campbell's status is up in the air, as they are both currently set to hit free agency. That's two of last offseason's signings who may not return. This means the Falcons may not only need to replace them but also add on.

NFL free agency officially begins on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.
