Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has been a consistent player since being drafted in 2018 with the No. 86 pick. In that draft, the Ravens took Hayden Hurst (No.25) and Andrews in the same class.

Ever since, it has been Andrews making a name for himself in the NFL, and now, after four seasons, he is regarded as one of the best tight ends in the game.

Due to his consistent level of production, ESPN has listed Andrews as the 28th biggest draft steal of the last decade.

"A third-rounder, Andrews was the fourth tight end selected in 2018," ESPN writes. "He had been projected to be a second-round pick, but it's worth noting his stock was affected by the uncertainty about his playing as a Type 1 diabetic. There haven't been any issues, and Andrews has become a star at his position; he caught over 100 balls in 2021 for 1,361 yards and nine trips to the end zone."

The other tight ends taken before Andrews were Hurst (No. 25), Mike Gesicki (No. 42), and Dallas Goedert (No. 49). Looking at the stats, Andrews leads in every key area.

Andrews has the most yards (4,313), most touchdowns (34), and most receptions (336). The others, while having good careers thus far, aren't close to Andrews' production.

Hurst has posted 1,718 yards, 177 receptions, and 14 touchdowns, Gesicki has registered 2,617 yards, 231 receptions, and 18 touchdowns, while Goedert has amassed 2,997 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 248 receptions.

Such has been Andrews' high level of play since being drafted that among tight ends, he ranks third for yards, fourth for receptions, second for touchdowns, and fourth for yards per game.

For a third-round selection, that makes a guy a “steal,” as does being a three-time Pro Bowler and an All-Pro.

Looking at Andrews' stats and comparing them to other star tight ends in Travis Kelce and George Kittle, the Ravens star has more than held his own and is worthy of his 28th biggest draft steal selection.
