Ravens Free Agent Rumors: Add Bills WR?
The receiver position will be addressed at some point this offseason by the Baltimore Ravens, but will they fill that need through free agency, the draft, or both?
Sports Illustrated predicted where pending free agents would sign, and it had the Ravens addressing their need by signing Buffalo Bills receiver Gabe Davis.

"Yes, Davis tends to have quiet receiving games, but he’s an excellent blocker and would fit well for the offensive scheme Lamar Jackson runs in Baltimore," Sports Illustrated writes. "Davis, 24, would fill a need and likely won’t command an expensive contract, which would be a plus for the Ravens, who have limited cap space."
Davis has been the definition of feast or famine throughout the first four years of his career. Davis had five games with at least 87 receiving yards and a touchdown, and he also had four games where he didn't register a single catch.
He had 45 catches for 746 yards and seven touchdowns in 2023. The UCF product has caught seven touchdowns in three of his four seasons with the Bills.
The key for Baltimore would be signing Davis to a team-friendly deal. Given their lack of cap space, the Ravens can't invest too much money into a receiver, let alone one who has been as inconsistent as Davis throughout his career.
At his best, Davis can be the red-zone threat at receiver the Ravens need. At 6-foot-2, he can join tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely as receiving options who can go above the rim to make contested catches in the end zone.
For the Ravens, it'll just be a matter of signing Davis to a team-friendly contract and finding a way to get more consistency out of him to improve their receiving corps.
