Report: Ravens Looking at QB Options Outside of Lamar Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens are looking into free agent options to add "flexibility" to their Lamar Jackson situation.

PITTSBURGH -- The Baltimore Ravens' quarterback situation continues, and while the Pittsburgh Steelers move forward in free agency, so do their AFC North rivals, who are reportedly looking into outside options if Lamar Jackson isn't their QB this season.

With the free agency window opening, Jackson is now eligible to talk with other teams about a contract offer. Meanwhile, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Ravens have done some homework on free agent quarterbacks to allow themselves some "flexibility."

Both Baker Mayfield and Jacoby Brissett, who Flower reports had some interest from Baltimore, have signed elsewhere - Mayfield to the Buccaneers and Brissett to the Commanders.

In earlier reports, Fowler has said that Jackson could sit out this season if he does not receive a contract from Baltimore or another team. He has until July 15 to sign his non-exclusive franchise tag, or for a team to work out a deal with him and the Ravens.
