Bengals Star WR Dealing With Concerning Injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers might not see the Bengals' star wide receiver when they travel to Cincinnati.

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers' rival, the Cincinnati Bengals, have a somewhat concerning injury they'll be watching closely moving forward. Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is dealing with a back issue that, according to The Athletic's Paul Dehner, will be something worth monitoring.

"All I can do is pray and be a good teammate and be there for those guys and try to get healthy. That’s the only thing I can do right now," Chase told Dehner. "Everybody is counting on me to be healthy."

Chase made it known he was sore just moving around and that the injury "got worse as the game went on." He suffered the problem during the Bengals' Week 9 win over the Buffalo Bills.

The Steelers are set to travel to Cincinnati in Week 12 to face the Bengals for the first time this season. The two teams split the season series a year ago, with Pittsburgh's victory coming on the road.

The Bengals have won the last four games, and Chase has contributed two 100-yard games in that process. This season, he's totaled 697 yards and four touchdowns.
