Steelers Challenge Matt Canada - He Responds

The Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator took a massive step forward.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers decided they were putting everything on their offensive coordinator's shoulders. If this team was going to make it, it was going to come from Matt Canada because they believed in him.

Well, for at least this week, he answered the call.

According to The Score's Jordan Schultz, the Steelers have somewhat promoted their OC, realigning his duties so he works directly with Kenny Pickett on a daily basis to improve the quarterback's growth.

"Pittsburgh believes in Canada and they anticipate this making a big difference," Schultz wrote.

Against the Raiders, that call was answered. This team looked better than they had all season, and for the first time, there was optimism that things are headed in the right direction.

After fans and commentators had a field day bashing the move by Pittsburgh, they ended it praising their offensive game plan.

Now, the question is how long can it last?
