Most celebrity honeymoon posts follow a familiar formula: breathtaking sunsets, candlelit dinners and idyllic beach views.

Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones took a different approach.

Less than two weeks after saying "I do," the newlyweds gave fans an unexpected peek inside married life by sharing videos of themselves fitting in a workout aboard a luxury yacht. The clips, originally posted to Mitchell's Instagram Stories before being reshared by The Sports Network, quickly made the rounds online, offering a glimpse into a relationship built not only on romance, but also on a shared commitment to their craft.

For Mitchell and Jones, it seems even paradise doesn't mean pressing pause.

Even Paradise Doesn't Mean Taking a Day Off

The short videos capture the couple exercising side by side on the yacht's open deck, with crystal-blue water and a lush, mountainous coastline stretching out behind them.

Mitchell, 29, clips into a Peloton while wearing gray athletic gear as Jones, 28, settles into a run on a treadmill in a white athletic outfit with her hair pulled into a high bun. The scenery is almost distracting enough to make viewers forget they're watching a workout.

Almost. One small detail quickly caught fans' attention: both appeared to be exercising barefoot.

The Sports Network shared the videos with the caption, "No days off for Donovan Mitchell," prompting plenty of reactions from fans.

Some couldn't resist joking about the barefoot workouts.

"Both barefoot? Yeah, they 'exercised' for the video 🤣," one commenter wrote.

Others pointed out that Mitchell had every reason to stay in shape after recently agreeing to a four-year, $273 million contract extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

But for plenty of viewers, the workout itself took a back seat to the scenery. "It's like they are running towards that mountain in front of them," one fan observed.

Another simply declared that Mitchell had "won in life," noting he was working out on a yacht alongside his "multi-talented" wife.

The Workout Fits the Life They've Built Together

For anyone who has followed Mitchell and Jones over the past two years, the honeymoon clips probably weren't all that surprising.

Mitchell has established himself as one of the NBA's premier stars through relentless preparation, while Jones has balanced a Grammy-winning music career with an increasingly successful acting résumé. Their honeymoon workout wasn't about showing off. If anything, it looked like a natural extension of the disciplined lifestyles that helped shape both of their careers long before they became husband and wife.

The couple exchanged vows on Aug. 1 during an intimate ceremony in Greenwich, Connecticut, surrounded by close family and friends. Among those in attendance were NBA stars Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson and Bam Adebayo, along with Russell Wilson and Ciara. Videos from the celebration later showed the newlyweds dancing with guests as they celebrated the start of married life.

Despite becoming one of sports and entertainment's most talked-about couples, Mitchell and Jones have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight. They announced their engagement in July 2025 after Mitchell proposed during a vacation, choosing to share the news with a simple photo instead of an elaborate reveal.

Earlier this year, Jones opened up about how marriage changed the way she thought about commitment, admitting the milestone carried a different kind of weight than anything she'd experienced professionally.

"I think about my life so much like business, and I'm like, 'Girl, you got to stop. This is the biggest contract I've ever signed,'" she told People. "You know what I'm saying? This is a real-life, forever commitment."

That perspective makes the honeymoon videos feel like more than just another celebrity vacation update.

Rather than documenting luxury for luxury's sake, Mitchell and Jones offered a glimpse into the rhythm they've already established together. Whether they're on an NBA court, on stage or aboard a yacht surrounded by Caribbean waters, they're still showing up the same way: side by side, putting in the work while enjoying every step of the journey.
