Perfect Fantasy Football Mock Draft From The #6 Pick Featuring Malik Nabers

The best draft strategy for the #6 overall pick in fantasy football for the 2026 NFL season.

Having a middle pick in fantasy football drafts can be hard to navigate. With that, here is a guide for the perfect draft, rounds one through seven, for a 12-man PPR fantasy league at the #6 overall pick.

First Round Pick 1.06- Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Taking a WR with upside to be WR1 in PPR fantasy football formats at #6 overall is never a bad option. Jaxon Smith-Njigba in 2025 had his best fantasy season yet, finishing as WR2 in PPR behind Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua.

Njigba in 2025 had 119 receptions for 1,793 yards and 10 TDs. There is upside for him to have even a better season in fantasy this year with Seattle losing one of their biggest offensive weapons in the 2026 offseason, RB Kenneth Walker III. With his departure, even more offensive responsibility could fall on him. 

Second Round Pick 2.07-Saquon Barkley

Philadelphia Eagles RB1, Saquon Barkley, after a historic season in 2024, put up an underwhelming year based on where he was projected to get taken in fantasy drafts in 2025. He rushed for 1,140 yards, had 273 receiving yards, and had nine total TDs. That led him to finish as RB14 in PPR formats.

Barkley is a good RB to take a chance on early in drafts. He still holds elite upside, and his chances of tapping into that have greatly increased with star WR AJ Brown now being a member of the New England Patriots. So, similarly to Smith-Njigba, he could see more usage with one of his team's key offensive weapons now off the team.

Third Round Pick 3.06- Malik Nabers

Out of any player that is projected to be available in the third round of 12-man fantasy drafts, WR for the New York Giants Malik Nabers may have the highest boom potential. In 2025, in four games, he had 271 receiving yards and four TDs. His season was cut short due to a torn ACL and damage to his meniscus. Those ailments are the key reason why Nabers is not a second- or first-round fantasy pick candidate in 2026, although he has the skill set to be that.

Nabers is trending to play in Week1. He was not placed on the physically unable to perform list for the Giants' training camp and has been practicing in a limited capacity there.

Fourth Round Pick 4.07- Breece Hall

Another year where the QB situation is extremely shaky for the New York Jets–Geno Smith is starting–could lead them to use their run game a large amount. With that in mind, RB1 for the Jets, Breece Hall, has great value in the fourth round. In 2025, he had his best statistical season, racking up 1,065 rushing yards, 350 receiving yards, and five TDs.

The Jets also clearly value Hall, as they franchise-tagged him in the 2026 offseason, which should give fantasy managers a slight boost in confidence when making this pick in the fourth.

Fifth Round Pick 5.06- Mike Evans

Yes, for a WR, Mike Evans is old. But his production year in and year out has been unbelievable, not including his injury-riddled 2025 season. In 2025, in eight games, he had 30 receptions for 368 receiving yards and three TDs. It was the first time in Evans' 12-year career that he had under 1,000 receiving yards.

Evans, now with the San Francisco 49ers, should have more opportunity than in 2025 when he was available. WR Ricky Pearsall is out for the season, and TE George Kittle should miss some time early in the season. If Evans remains healthy, there is no reason he can't get back to producing a 1,000+ yard season in 2026.

Sixth Round Pick 6.07- TreVeyon Henderson

RB depth is one of the make-or-break factors in fantasy football, so even though already have selected two RBs in the first five rounds, a third RB in the sixth round is needed. The drop-off in the level of RB after the sixth round is drastic, and acquiring TreVeyon Henderson gets you a reliable starter with upside. 

Henderson, in part of a two-back system in 2025, had 911 rushing yards and nine TDs. Through the first seven games of the season, he only had one outing with 10 or more carries. Early on this season, with him being more established, Henderson should be a bigger part of the Patriots’ offense from the start of the season.

Seventh Round Pick 7.06- Brock Purdy

49ers QB Brock Purdy, as crazy as it may sound, has QB1-3 fantasy football potential. He had one of the strongest three-game stretches of play from any QB last season. From Week 15 to Week 17, he averaged 297.7 passing yards per game and had a TD-INT Ratio of 11-1. 

With the production levels he showcased late in 2025, taking Purdy in the seventh round could end up being one of the best value picks in fantasy drafts in 2026.
