The Best Week 7 Fantasy Football Quarterback Streamers Featuring Matthew Stafford

Injuries and bye weeks have left fantasy managers scrambling — here are the best Week 7 quarterback streamers, including Matthew Stafford, who’s set up for a strong matchup against Jacksonville.

There are a lot of fantasy owners who have the luxury of just plugging in their quarterback every week and letting it ride. Then there are the rest of us, who have to search the waiver wire each week and play the matchups because we don't have that luxury. With all the injuries and bye weeks, and in Lamar Jackson's case both, fantasy owners are searching for help. These are the top quarterbacks to stream in Week 7.

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Stafford will likely be without star receiver Puka Nacua this week; however, he's still a very good quarterback and still has Davante Adams to throw to. That should be enough to make him a viable fantasy option against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags have allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Jacksonville is significantly better against the run, so the way to attack them is through the air. That should lead to a big day for Stafford.

Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers

Rodgers is no longer what we would describe as good at football. He's old, he's slow, and no one wants to plug him into their lineup. However, fantasy owners do want to play the matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals this season, regardless of position. This week, he will go head-to-head with the slightly younger Joe Flacco.

The only concern when it comes to your quarterback playing against the Bengals is that the Bengals will get blown out, and your quarterback will not have to throw in the second half. While that's a valid concern, the Bengals did look more competent with Flacco under center last week. The hope is that the Bengals' offense will be good enough to at least hang around a little bit against the Steelers this week.

Spencer Rattler, New Orleans Saints

The Saints face off with the Chicago Bears in Week 7, in a game that could turn out to be an unexpected shootout. Rattler hasn't been great this season, but he has been better than expected. Most projected him to be terrible, and that hasn't been the case. The Bears are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Rattler could take advantage of this matchup and excel.

Through six games this season, he has already thrown the ball 203 times. He has thrown for at least 200 yards in all but one game, throwing six touchdowns in six games, and tacking on 143 rushing yards. Fantasy owners are digging deep this week, and Rattler may be a much better option than expected when you dig deep into the numbers.
