In a recent update from Regis Le Bris on the recent absences that Sunderland brings, he has made it clear that his position is not very encouraging, and he has had great players off the pitch for a good while.

This leaves great concern for the final stretch of the season for Sunderland, thinking that they currently occupy a mid-table position, and despite being the recently promoted team, their aspirations have been too high, but the competitiveness of the Premier League has weighed on them.

However, Regis Le Bris seeks to make a positive investment for the next season and be able to compete in a better way by obtaining a broader squad to not have these setbacks of injuries in the team.

Sunderland will face their upcoming matches with the loss of decisive players in their squad, and who, if not having physical problems, would be starters, but now it becomes a difficult moment for Black Cats with the absences of Brian Brobbey, Bertrand Traore, Reinildo Mandava, Nordi Mukiele, Dennis Cirkin, and Robin Roefs.

The Sunderland Echo newspaper has confirmed the difficult moment Traore will go through, as he again has problems in his knee due to a sequel from a previous injury, and Black Cats are in this stage determining if he needs surgery or if it can be treated more conservatively.

However, not all is bad news: Brian Brobbey could be available for the match against Brighton on March 14th, as he returned to training in a positive way.

Nordi Mukiele and Dennis Cirkin will miss the match against Port Vale. Their return is expected around March 14th, but if there is any setback, they would return definitively to face Newcastle United on March 22nd, along with the definitive return of Reinildo Mandava.

Although several of these absences lasted a long time, it is now hoped that they will return as soon as possible to attend a unique final stretch of the season with Sunderland, where they compete in the FA Cup and climb the Premier League table.
