Georgia's Opening Betting Odds Against Ball State

Georgia opens as a massive betting favorite over their week two opponent, Ball State.

With week one already in the books and Georgia coming off of a massive win over UT Martin by a score of 48-7, the Bulldogs now shift their focus to week two against Ball State. This is the last week before head coach Kirby Smart and his football team officially begin their conference schedule against South Carolina in two weeks, and the Bulldogs have been tabbed as a massive favorite in week two.

The opening line for Georgia's game against Ball State has them listed as a 43-point favorite over the Cardinals, according to OddsShark. Other sites have a very similar number, as SI Sportsbook has the reigning national champs as a 42.5-point favorite ahead of college football's week two slate. They also have the over/under for the game tallied at 53.5 total points.

Georgia got off to a bit of a shaky start against the Skyhawks in week one offensively as quarterback Carson Beck made his first-ever collegiate start, but he and the offense were able to find a steady rhythm later in the game to help the Bulldogs coast to a victory. Now, Georgia will look to build off of what they accomplished a week ago and learn from their week one mistakes to help continue their impressive 18-game win streak.
