Former Georgia offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn has reportedly reached a new one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.

Former Georgia offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn has a new contract. The former first-round pick signed a new one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins to return to the team for a second season.

The deal keeps the oft-injured lineman in Miami and was reported by his agent. After three injury-filled years with New England, Wynn signed with the Dolphins in May of 2023. He started at left guard for the team for the first seven weeks of the season but was placed on injured reserve on October 24th.

Wynn was drafted in the first round by the New England Patriots in 2018. He tore his achilles in his second preseason game and missed the rest of the season as the team went on to win Super Bowl LIII. He returned in 2019 but suffered a toe injury that put him back on injured reserve. In 2020, he moved to guard for the Patriots and started there for the first half of the season but suffered a knee injury and was once again put on injured reserve.

In 2022, he moved back to tackle for the Patriots but again suffered a knee injury that ended his season early. He signed with the Dolphins in early 2023, and as mentioned above, started at guard before ending his season on injured reserve.

Hopefully, the former Bulldog can finally find some sustained health and get a full season under his belt in Miami.
