The newest episode of the 'Payoff Pitch' podcast is now live!

Each Wednesday, our own Brady Farkas from the Fastball on FanNation team brings you a new episode.

In this week's episode, he talks about the idea of the Oakland Athletics moving to Las Vegas. We heard last week that the A's were getting closer to a stadium deal in Vegas and then the Athletics confirmed it themselves.

He also talks about the Pittsburgh Pirates signing Bryan Reynolds to an eight-year contract extension and why it's good for everyone involved, and sends the right message to the Pirates and their fans.

He then talks about the effects of the pitch clock, which is nearly one month old, before moving to Red Sox starter Chris Sale, who he wishes would be a little less accountable in how he handles things. He wishes that Sale would be able to let bad performances go a little easier.

Then, Brady discusses the idea of the Padres trading Juan Soto this offseason. Is it really as easy as everyone thinks it would be?

And finally, he closes out the show by looking at a pair of great catches from the week -- the catch by Wander Franco of the Tampa Bay Rays and the catch by Taylor Ward of the Los Angeles Angels.

You can listen to the full episode below and remember, new editions of the podcast come out each Wednesday by 8 a.m. and you can subscribe to the podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify!
