Alabama Adds Another 4-Star Linebacker to Class of 2025

The Crimson Tide gets its second commitment in the two days with a linebacker from Georgia.

The Alabama Crimson Tide gets another win on the recruiting trail as on Sunday linebacker Jaedon Harmon became the second player to pledge his commitment to the Crimson Tide in consecutive days.

Harmon, a 4-star linebacker out of Rome High School in Rome, Ga. told On3 Sports on Sunday that he was joining the Crimson Tide's Class of 2025. He's listed at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds, and is considered the No. 25 overall player in the state of Georgia and the No. 23 linebacker in the class by the 247Sports Composite.

He becomes the fifth linebacker to join the Alabama class and his commitment brings the Crimson Tide up to 10 total in the current cycle. His addition bumped the Crimson Tide up one spot to the No. 7 overall class, but Alabama is still in third in the SEC, trailing LSU and Oklahoma.

Harmon chose Alabama over Clemson, Ohio State, & Tennessee. He was offered a scholarship by the new staff last month and went ahead and committed while back in Tuscaloosa this past weekend for the Crimson Tide's A-Day.

As a junior at Rome High School, he tallied 80 tackles with five sacks and an interception, helping his team go 11-2 in Georgia's Class 5A football.
