Alabama football added its second offensive line prospect of the 2025 recruiting class as Dontrell Glover commits to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Glover, who plays for Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Ga., is listed at 6 feet, three inches, and 290 pounds. He chose the Crimson Tide over a host of top programs, including Ohio State, Georgia and LSU after first receiving an offer from Alabama back in December.

In addition to Glover, 4-star offensive line prospect Mason Short committed to Alabama on April 2. Short is bigger than Glover at this point (6 feet, 5 1/2 inches, 305 pounds), but with two years of high school football ahead of both players, who knows how much either player will grow?

Nick Saban and Co. still have a lot of space left in the 2024 recruiting class, so to see the Crimson Tide setting itself up for the long term is a notable effort.

In the early portion of the 2025 team rankings, Alabama is No. 2 behind Georgia. And outside of the SEC rivals, only Colorado has a 5-star prospect committed from the 2025 class.

It's also of note that Glover isn't rated on 247Sports as of yet. If he has a quality summer, that could quickly change and boost the overall team grade.
