A second player has left Alabama as Jahquez Robinson has entered the transfer portal.

He is the second Crimson Tide player to enter the portal this spring, joining tight end Elijah Brown.

Robinson, a redshirt junior from Jacksonville, Florida, was mainly a special teams contributor in 2022. Before that, he only saw action against Mercer in 2021 before being redshirted. He did not see action during his true freshman season in 2020.

Coming out of high school, Robinson was rated a 4-star prospect by both 247Sports and On3. All of the major sites had him around the top 30 at his position, the lowest ranking being the No. 33 cornerback in the class and the highest ranking being No. 16.

Cornerback was a position that a lot of people had eyes on after what happened last season. Kool-Aid McKinstry was a lock for one corner spot, leaving the second starting position up for grabs between Robinson, Terrion Arnold, Earl Little, Jahlil Hurley and Desmond Ricks.

Now Robinson will find a new home this spring, where he'll likely have a bigger role next season.
