TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Even though spring practice is in full swing, the transfer portal doesn't slow down for anyone.

Alabama Football defensive back Tre'Quon Fegans entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal on Wednesday afternoon.

Fegans is the third Crimson Tide player this week to enter the transfer portal — just days before the annual "A-Day" game on Saturday.

"I want to thank The University of Alabama for everything they’ve brought to my career for the past year," Fegans said on Twitter. "But with that being said I will be entering the transfer portal with four years of eligibility."

Fegans was redshirted in 2022-23 — his first season with the Crimson Tide. He was a four-star recruit out of Alabaster, Ala. in the Class of 2022.

Fegans, the No. 14 cornerback in his class, played at Thompson High School. He was the No. 7 player from the state of Alabama.

"Home, closer to family," Fegans said about his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Oct. 20, 2021. "Nick Saban, winning program. […] I went to one of their practices [during the] summer and Coach Saban talked with me. I ran the 40, did the drills and he told me that I play a little like Eddie Jackson — I remind him of him."

Fegans decommitted from Miami to pursue a role in Tuscaloosa.

His younger brother, Anquon Fegans, is the No. 1 safety in the Class of 2025. He was offered by the Crimson Tide in June 2022.
