It was another helping of home runs as Alabama baseball defeated Missouri 10-4 in a Saturday afternoon matchup.

The star of the day was freshman Colby Shelton, who went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBIs. He was one of three Alabama players to send one over the fence, being joined by Andrew Pinckney and Caden Rose.

Brad Bohannon's squad drew first blood at the beginning of the game as Jim Jarvis scored on a wild pitch. The Tide added three more runs in the fourth inning; Shelton hit his first homer of the game, a two-run shot to right center field, then Pinckney scored on a wild pitch.

Missouri then got on the board after Zane Probst hit the first batter he saw with the bases loaded to force home a run. The score was 4-1 after four innings.

Alabama added another run in 5th inning to take a 5-1 lead, but a three-run home run by Missouri's Hank Zeisler quickly cut the lead to one.

However, it was all Alabama the rest of the way, scoring five more runs in the final four innings to take home the win.

Hunter Hoopes was credited with the win and Riley Quick earned his second save of the game, as Alabama improved to 28-12 and 8-9 in SEC play.

The Tigers' Rorik Maltrud was given the loss, bringing his season record to 1-2. Missouri falls to 23-15 overall and 5-12 in conference play.

Alabama has the chance to sweep the series on Sunday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.
