TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama football put together a two-hour workout in full pads on Tuesday afternoon, spending the day on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

Tuesday’s workout is the fourth of 14 sessions for the Tide leading up to its annual intrasquad scrimmage. The Golden Flake A-Day Game is slated for a 2 p.m. CT kickoff on Saturday, April 22 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will stream live on ESPN+/SEC Network+ and admission is free for all fans.

Last week, offensive lineman JC Latham spoke to the media about the offensive line's goals for the upcoming season.

On specific advice for OL

“It’s more of an everyday thing. They come up to me and ask me what to expect from this day. We had our offseason conditioning, our weight-lifting groups and then now spring. So they all come up to me and ask me, ‘Hey what should expect? What do I got to do if I want to be like the best? What do I got to do to get better at this area?’ So I just kind of take them in like that. I kinda don’t want to throw too much at them at once but just to make sure they’re ahead of the curve and ready.”

On preparing for a new QB

“I guess it’s just something that you’ve got to get used to. Obviously, it’s my second season in college, so I’m only used to Bryce coming here. So I guess it’s just it brings something new to the table with both quarterbacks. So whoever wins the job, it’s ultimately up to Nick Saban at the end of the day.”
