Another week of SEC football is done, and the LSU Tigers remain undisputed in the SEC.

While Ole Miss tried its hardest to keep it close, nothing was going to get in the way of LSU, and the Tigers keep on rolling on their march towards Atlanta.

The obvious headline of the weekend was the season-ending hip injury to Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. With Tagovailoa sidelined for the remainder of the season, redshirt-sophomore Mac Jones is slated to start the remainder of the year for the Crimson Tide. Jones had a solid outing in his lone start against Arkansas this season, but Alabama fans have to remember that, after all, it was the Razorbacks.

The best game of the weekend was the matchup of Auburn and Georgia, and the fourth quarter of that matchup did not disappoint. Despite the loss, Auburn actually jumps over Texas A&M in this week’s rankings due to giving Georgia a run for its money. In addition, Georgia and Florida flip-flop around Alabama, swapping the second and fourth spots.

With the combination of Alabama’s key injury and Auburn’s close loss to Georgia, now is a great time to remind readers that the power rankings depict not where a team has been or where it will go, but where it sits currently.

With that out of the way, check out the power rankings after Week 12:
