The Crimson Tide were able to use a balanced attack to beat Kentucky on Thursday, and the team will look for more of the same against the Tigers in Tuscaloosa on Sunday.

Alabama had four different players hit double-digit points in Lexington, with Brittany Davis, Aaliyah Nye, Hannah Barber, and Karly Weathers getting above the 10 point mark.

Davis lead the way with 22 points, but Nye came through big in the second half, with 13 points coming in the half when Alabama was able to take control.

Weathers was able to play great for a freshman in a big SEC road game, scoring 10 points on three-of-five shooting. She was also able to grab two rebounds and she got two assists, stats that she is normally able to fill up for the game.

Auburn is coming off a big loss to No. 1 South Carolina, 83-48. The Tigers are currently 13-10, but have a rough 3-8 record in the SEC. Something that they have not been able to figure out is how to win road games, with a 1-4 mark on the road.

Alabama does have a good home record at 9-3, but have dropped their last two home games, to No. 3 LSU and No. 1 South Carolina. Both those losses might have been expected, they still put a bit of a sting on the home-court advantage that Alabama wants to try and set.

With the game being Alabama vs. Auburn, it will always generate some buzz around the area. But with the game also having some stakes in the SEC standings, there is a little more importance on a game like this.
