The Alabama Crimson Tide has been recruiting Daniel Hill for months on end.

The running back from Meridian, Miss., is one of the best running backs in the Class of 2024 and on Saturday he committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide at the East vs. West All-American game.

"The history and coaching they have with running backs, the winning culture that they have. Ever since they recruited me they've been showing constant love. It was a family decision. It was just the best fit for me and my family and that's why I chose Alabama," said Hill on NBC.

The 4-star running back stands at 5-foot-11, 240-pounds and is considered the No. 15 running back in the class and the No. 4 overall player in the state of Mississippi by 247Sports.

Hill chose the Crimson Tide over Mississippi State, South Carolina and Tennessee. His father, Demetrius Hill, actually played his college football for Mississippi State.

He joins Kevin Riley as the second running back in Alabama's class and his addition gives the Tide the No. 2 overall class in this cycle.

Hill actually signed his letter of intent in December, but made his decision public on NBC on Saturday during the All-Star Game.

He's a state champion hurdler, winning 6A titles in the 110 and 300-meter hurdles.

He rushed 277 times for 2064 yards and 23 touchdowns with 240 yards receiving and three more touchdowns through the air, while also completing 18 passes for 307 yards and three scores for Meridian High School.
