FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — When the news of North Texas tight end Var'Keyes Gumms re-committing to Arkansas on Sunday morning, the first thought was if Sam Pittman told him to not change it again?
The news was first reported by 247Sports.com's Chris Hummer, who released the information through that website.
Pittman still apparently hasn't gotten completely used to all this transfer comings and goings like a lot of us folks that have been around awhile. Gumms' flipping in and out probably really doesn't sit particularly well with the Hogs' coach, but he likely won't say that publicly. It's part of this ever-changing world in college athletics that has seen over 60 players leave Colorado's program since Deion Sanders took over there.
