Arkansas Hosts Quality 2025 Prospects Over Weekend

With 2024 high school class almost wrapped up majority of focus now moves to juniors.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas assembled a quality group of high school seniors with seven signees ranked in the top 300, per 247sports in the last cycle Now they shift focus toward the 2025 prospects. The class currently holds commitments from three juniors in 4-star running back Jamarion Parker (St. Louis), 3-star quarterback Grayson Wilson (Little Rock) and kicker Evan Neal (St. Louis).

For Eric Mateos, a coach who's produced a pair of semifinalists in the Jim Moore Award for college football's top offensive line, continues to be on several major linemen. Top target on the board is Jack Lange, a 6-8, 275-pound tackle.

Lange is a 4-star prospect out of Eureka, Missouri and already holds offers from the likes of Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas State, Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Washington. He is a tri-sport athlete who also competes in basketball and shot put for his school's track and field program.

Centerpoint's Tate Spray is another offensive tackle possessing exceptional size and skill. The 6-5, 275-pounder competed at the U.S. Army Bowl combine two weeks ago and performed well. 

Benton offensive tackle Parker Glaze has yet to be offered but has several interests from schools including Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma State. The 6-foot-5, 290 pounder has been named to the state's underclassmen team as a sophomore. He is a versatile athlete compete for the school's wrestling team.

“I had a great time yesterday at the University of Arkansas,” Glaze said. “I really enjoyed visiting with the coaches and touring the great facilities. I loved meeting Coach Mateos and I think he is a great football coach! I also liked talking with Coach Pittman and Coach Petrino. I don’t know when I will visit again, but I would love to go back!”

Former Shiloh Christian player Hudson Ball transferred to Jenks High School in Oklahoma where he's blossomed into a solid overall prospect. Ball currently holds an offer from UNLV. The 6-3, 235-pounder is projected to play on the defensive line in college but also plays running back at the prep rank. He recorded 89 tackles, 14 sacks and 13 tackles for loss as a junior in 2023. 

The Razorbacks will host two more junior days on January 20 and 27 while also focusing on transfers with the coaching carousel in full swing again.
