FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – One of the top prospects in the 2024 class, Isaiah Elohim has trimmed his top school list to three with Arkansas, Villanova and Kansas. This announcement comes following his recent visit to Fayetteville on the weekend of Sept. 16.

According to Joe Tipton of On3 Sports, Elohim’s visit to Providence has been cancelled. However, the Sierra Canyon product from Northridge, Calif. still has a visit to USC scheduled in October.  The 6-foot-6, 190 pound small forward is the No. 38 prospect in the country, per 247Sports composite rankings. Elohim is in a loaded small forward class that includes standouts like Ace Bailey (Rutgers), Kon Knueppel (Duke), and Annor Boateng (Missouri).

The Hogs are putting together another solid high school class once again. Link Prep small forward Jalen Shelley committed to the Hogs as the No. 49 ranked prospect in the country per 247Sports composite. If Musselman and his staff close the deal on the potential addition of Elohim, that would currently bring them to No. 11 overall in the country in the 247Sports team rankings.

Originally from Kings, N.Y., Elohim transferred to the West Coast to be developed by Sierra Canyon — considered one of the top prep schools in the country in Los Angeles. As a high school junior in 2022-23, he averaged 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game for Sierra Canyon.

After watching his highlight tape, it is apparent why the Hogs are high on Elohim. He has a lengthy frame that allows him to drive to the basket with ease while also possessing the ability to efficiently score in the mid-range to three-point range.
