COLUMBIA, Mo. — After missing the previous game with an injury, Saylor Poffenbarger's 24 points with eight threes made up for lost time en route to a 67-58  Arkansas win over Missouri on the road.

Poffenbarger caught fire and never let up. Her eight triples is one short of the school record set against Georgia in 1999 by Wendi Willits. The two teams played an evenly-matched first half. 12 of Poffenbarger's 24 points in the first half was countered by 12 points from Ashton Judd. Neither team led by more than five points in the first half. The Hogs as a team shot an impressive 12-for-26 from deep and used a three from Karley Johnson in the final minute of the half to give the Razorbacks the lead, 29-28 at halftime.

The Razorbacks needed all the offensive production it could get, Taliah Scott missed her sixth straight game and Carly Keats sustained an injury after getting hit in the face in the first half and did not return to the game.

Mizzou shot the ball well to keep the game interesting, Judd finished with an SEC career-high 21 points. The Hogs parried a spurt in the middle of the third quarter from Missouri with yet another clutch three late in the quarter, who else but Poffenbarger to hit a three from the corner of the final possession of the quarter to maintain a 49-48 lead going into the final 10 minutes.

The fourth quarter was no different, Poffenbarger had scored the first nine points of the quarter for the Hogs on three triples to give Arkansas the necessary separation to put the game away. Samara Spencer pitched in with two layups late to put the game away. Poffenbarger had two chances late to tie and/or break the record but fell just short.

Arkansas now returns to Bud Walton Arena against Alabama 8 p.m. Feb. 1. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network and fuboTV.
