Elite 4-Star Wide Receiver Sets Official Visit Date To Auburn

The Auburn Tigers will host an elite receiver.

The Auburn Tigers are looking to add more talent to the 2025 class.

As they currently sit just inside the top 10 in the 2025 industry rankings, Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers are looking to stack back-to-back classes that finish inside the top 10.

Auburn is set to host 4-Star wide receiver Travis Smith on June 7. He will visit Auburn after checking out Georgia on May 31. After his Auburn visit, he is scheduled to head to Alabama on Jun 14, and Tennessee on June 21.

"The way those guys coach, it’s very high intensity but graceful as well," Smith told On3 after seeing Auburn's practice last month. "Just seeing those guys … it was just back and forth with defense and offense. Seeing the way they compete.”

Smith is listed a 6-foot-3, 200 pounds. He plays ball at Westlake in Atlanta, Georgia. Smith is listed as a four-star by the four major publications.

Auburn currently has no wide receivers committed in the 2025 class. Auburn commits Ryan Ghea and Hollis Davidson are listed as tight ends in Auburn's upcoming class.

Georgia is seen as the favorite to land Smith's services at the next level. With Auburn landing four true freshman wide receivers in last year's class, it's clear that this coaching staff feels the need to flip the room over the next few cycles. Smith's path to playing time as a large-bodied outside threat could be a key part of the sales pitch that Freeze and the Auburn staff make when he arrives on campus again.
