3 things to know about the Missouri Tigers

Auburn takes on Missouri tomorrow in its last road game of the season. What are three of the most important things to know about the Tigers?

The No. 13 Auburn Tigers take on the Missouri Tigers on the road in Columbia tomorrow.

Auburn is looking to pick up its second win in a row while Missouri is still on the hunt for its first win of conference play.

What are three things to know about the Missouri Tigers?

Missouri has a guard duo that can impact the game

The Tigers have two guards who can impact a game in Tamar Bates and Sean East II.

Bates, a 6-foot-five junior, is Missouri's second-highest scorer with 13.6 points per game. He also averages 2.8 rebounds per game and shoots 49.8% from the field.

East, a 6-foot-3 senior leads Missouri in scoring with 17.5 points per game. He also averages 3.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while shooting 53.8% from the floor.

Auburn will need to focus on containing these two.

Missouri can be a shooting threat at times

The Tigers' offense is inconsistent, but it can turn it up at times.

Missouri shoots 44.3% from the field and 32.3% from beyond the arc as a team, but has had games where it shot closer to 50% in both categories.

Auburn can not afford to take Missouri lightly.

Missouri has played good teams close this season

Despite having a zero in the conference play win column, Missouri has competed with some of the SEC's best this season.

Georgia only beat Missouri by seven points and South Carolina only beat the Tigers by two.

This could be a trap game for Auburn.

Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network while the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
