Auburn basketball rises to No. 16 in latest AP top 25 poll

The Tigers are climbing in the polls following their blowout win over Arkansas.

Auburn basketball is on the rise.

Following the Tigers' (12-2, 1-0 SEC) demolishing of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Bruce Pearl & Co. have risen from No. 25 to No. 16 in the latest AP top 25.

Auburn was voted as high as No. 7 in the poll. Adam Cole of the Opelika-Auburn News placed the Tigers at No. 10 in his ballot.

Four different voters - Dave Borges of the New Haven Register (New Haven, CT), Dave Preston of WTOP Radio (Washington DC), Darnell Dickson of the Daily Herald (Provo, UT) and Luca Evans of the O.C. Register (Irvine, CA) left Auburn off of their ballot entirely.
