The Tigers took control and never looked back against the Trojans.
Auburn routed USC 91-75 after a back and forth start to the contest. The Tigers ended up shooting pretty efficiently from the floor, going on a number of runs throughout the game to stretch and maintain their lead.
Center Dylan Cardwell finished the game with a career-high 11 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.
Broome's inefficient shooting day was offset by Cardwell's game. It's just another reflection of the Tigers' extremely deep rotation.
If one starter isn't having a good game, a bench player will step up and contribute.
Aden Holloway and Tre Donaldson combined for 22 points, 11 assists, and one turnover. Those are excellent numbers coming from two of the youngest players in Auburn's rotation.
Once again, positives like these that Auburn continues to see are ones they can use looking into the future. If the SEC schedule features solid guard play like this, it makes the Tigers a difficult team to beat.
Auburn converted 14 USC turnovers into 17 points. The Tigers' defense has continued to cash in on opponent mistakes early in the season.
Boogie Ellis, the leading scorer of the game, had five of those turnovers. Five-star guard Isaiah Collier had three turnovers.
If Auburn's defense can continue to turn defense into offense, it will make them a very tough out in SEC play. Make a mistake, receive an immediate punishment.
It was a great all-around win for the Tigers. Here are photos of the victory, courtesy of Eric Starling.
