Between football and basketball, there are a lot of highly-ranked recruits in Auburn this weekend.

Among them will be Jalen Haralson, a five-star who can play point guard, shooting guard, or small forward. Haralson is a native of La Porte, Ind. and he attends La Lumiere School.

According to 247Sports, Haralson has a 0.9971 composite rating. He is the No. 8 ranked player nationally in the class of 2025, the No. 2 combo guard and the No. 1 player in the state of Indiana.

Other than Auburn, the 6-foot-6, 205-pound athlete has received offers from many of the nation's top programs including Duke, Gonzaga, Indiana, Kansas, LSU, Michigan, Purdue and Virginia.

Haralson would be the first recruit to join Auburn's 2025 class. If he were to pick the Tigers, he would be the second-highest-rated recruit in the history of the program. Jabari Smith currently holds that title with a 0.9980 composite rating according to 247Sports.

Additionally, Haralson would be the sixth five-star recruit in the program's history. Every one of them was recruited by Pearl. It is too early in his recruitment for a list of top schools, but Auburn is definitely in the mix.

For Auburn to consistently be in the mix for the nation's top talent speaks volumes to the level that Pearl has brought Auburn basketball to since taking over as the program's head coach.
