Hall of Famer Charles Barkley went on the show The Next Round on Monday to talk about Auburn Basketball, the NBA playoffs, and the transfer portal.

Ben Affleck’s new movie AIR was mentioned, as Barkley is a big part of the movie. Since he was signed to a Nike contract at the same time that Michael Jordan was, Barkley is still under contract with Nike to this day.

Chuck talked about how close he is with all the Nike employees that he signed up with when Auburn was brought back up.

“I got to get my Auburn Tigers into Nike gear and get out of that Under Armour stuff,” said Barkley.

Auburn is still under contract with Under Armour and will be until 2025, but many teams have been dropping Under Armour whenever their contract runs out. Auburn remains one of 17 FBS schools that are still under contract by Under Armour.
