Former Michigan State wide receiver Keon Coleman will visit Auburn on Sunday
Former Michigan State wide receiver Keon Coleman will visit Auburn on Sunday, per Jeffrey Lee of Auburn Live.
Not only is Coleman a great wideout, but he also had a connection with newly signed Auburn quarterback Payton Throne as they played together in East Lansing.
Coleman was the Spartan's leading receiver a season ago, catching 59 passes for 798 yards and seven touchdowns.
For perspective, in 2022, Coleman had 305 more yards, and four more touchdowns than Auburn's leading receiver Ja'Varrius Johnson.
The connection Coleman and Thorne have would really help Auburn, as the wide receiver position is one that needs some help before the season starts.
If Coach Freeze could get the job done and land Coleman it would be no surprise to see him put up numbers similar to what he did at Michigan State.
This offense would be scary good, with Thorne throwing the football, Jarquez Hunter running the football, and Coleman catching the football.
The hope now is that this visit will go well, and Coleman will catch passes from his former quarterback, Throne on the Plains.
