Auburn football's most valuable players in 2023: No. 22 Zion Puckett

Puckett brings over 100 career tackles to the table for the Tigers.

We continue our countdown towards Auburn's 2023 season with a ranking of their most valuable players.

Safety Zion Puckett lands at No. 22 in our top 25.

Zion Puckett's Bio

- 6-foot-0

- 226 pounds

- Senior

Puckett's value to the team is somewhat obvious considering he is projected to be one of Auburn's starting safeties. The going on five years of experience is valuable as well. Over the course of 67 games, Pritchett has 112 tackles, 4.5 for loss. He has not recorded an interception in his Auburn career, but has one fumble recovery.

There are a multitude of players in Auburn's defensive backfield that may project out as more valuable this season for the Tigers - partially because of versatility, partially because of their tape and Pro Football Focus grades.

This does not mean Pritchett is a bad player.
