In this story:

Auburn football's DJ James could be the top cornerback in the SEC. Last year, DJ James was fourth among SEC corners with an 82.3 defensive grade. He trailed Emmanuel Forbes (Mississippi State 87.2), Keidron Smith (Kentucky 85.6), and Kool-Aid McKinstry (Alabama 82.5). Keidron Smith and Emmanuel Forbes are in the 2023 NFL Draft. It's a real conversation between DJ and Kool-Aid McKinstry regarding who the best corner in the SEC is entering the 2023 season.

The battle for cornerback opposite of DJ James will be a fun sporing storyline. It will probably be Nehemiah Pritchett but I think how Kayin Lee, Jaylin Simpson, and Keionte Scott will all factor in how the pecking order could look at Auburn's outside corner position.

On today's Locked On Auburn, Zac Blackerby is joined by Lindsay Crosby of Auburn Daily and Locked On MLB Prospects to discuss the latest Auburn football news and discuss the cornerback depth chart for the Auburn Tigers. They also recap the weekend for Auburn baseball.
