Here's what we saw at Auburn's second practice.

In this story:

The second practice window looked very similar to the first practice window.

When we walked out, Payton Thorne was taking snaps from Avery Jones, Robby Ashford was with Connor Lew, Holden Geriner was with Harrison Clemmer and Hank Brown took snaps from Jalil Irvin. They all took turns handing off to different running backs.

The running backs receiving handoffs were Brian Battie, Jeremiah Cobb, Sean Jackson, and Christian Burnette.

I spent some time watching the outside wide receivers walk through their footwork with a fade drill. The order was Camden Brown, Rivaldo Fairweather, and Jyaire Shorter.

After that, we saw some pace drills.

Same starters as yesterday.

QB: Payton Thorne
RB: Damari Alston
TE: Rivaldo Fairweather
OL: Dillon Wade, Tate Johnson, Avery Jones, Kam Stutts, Gunner Britton
WR: Camden Brown, Nick Mardner, Jay Fair

The second unit was the same as well.

QB: Holden Geriner
RB: Brian Battie
TE: Luke Deal
OL: Garner Langlo, Jeremiah Wright, Connor Lew, Jaden Muskrat, Izavion Miller
WR: Omari Kelly, Malcolm Johnson Jr., Ja'Varrius Johnson

The order of rotating quarterbacks was:

Thorne, Geriner, Robby Ashford, Hank Brown, Thorne, Ashford.

Some of the play-by-play included several great passes as well as a handful that were behind the intended target. During every snap, Auburn wide receivers coach Marcus Davis is coaching his tail off.

Thorne threw an on-target ball to Shoter on a deep-in.

Brown ran a rollout play off of play action and found Micah Riley-Ducker running across formation.

Brown threw a deep seem to Mardner. This was the most impressive throw of the day.

Thorne threw to Johnson Jr. on back-to-back passes. Both were simple stick routes.

Ashford hit Deal on an out route in stride.

Robby then hit Camden Etheredge on what looked like a go-route.

Then the session ended and they stretched for the rest of our viewing window.
