In this story:

Auburn football is back on the Plains. Here are some observations from Monday's first organized practice of the Spring.

- Auburn's first offensive line in drills was (from left to right) Dillon Wade. Kam Stuts, Avery Jones, Tate Johnson, Gunner Britton.

- Britton is huge.

- Avery Jones physically is impressive. His feet stay so wide while he moves during drills and through contact.

- Bradyn Joiner looked outstanding physically. Screams interior build.

- The order that the running backs went through drills was: Jarquez hunter, Damari Alston, Brian Battie, Sean Jackson, Justin Jones, Luke Reebals.

- Robby Ashford threw a great inside route to Landen King.

- Holden Geriner threw a nice out to Tykler Fromm in stride.

- Omari Kelly dropped a pass from Ashford.

- TJ Finley threw a laser on an out route to Tar'Varish Dawson.

- Geriner threw a pass that was high to Rivaldo Fairweather and the tight end stayed in the air for what seemed like multiple seconds to come down with the pass.

- Jay Fair and Koy Moore operated out of the slot.

- Malcolm Johnson Jr. and Nick Mardner rotated outside receiver opposite of Camden Brown.

- Cam Brown looks great wearing number 4.

- In exchange drills, these were the following center, QB, RB groupings:

Connor Lew, Finley, Battie, Reebals.

Cort Bradley, Geriner, Jackson, Jones.

Avery Jones, Ashford, Hunter, Alston.

- Caddy spent a lot of time talking to the running backs about the importance of pass blocking and earning the right to be on the field on third down.

- The linebacker groups were:

Austin Keys and Robert Woodyard

Jake Levant and Cam Riley

Wesley Steiner and Eugene Asante

- The order that the JACKs lined up was Elijah McAllister, Brenton Williams, Keldric Faulk, Dylan Brooks.
