Auburn ranked among college football's biggest brands

In this story:
The Auburn Tigers have it all: a rich history, a passionate fanbase, plenty of deep-pocketed donors and a color scheme that is second to none.
It is no surprise that Auburn was a popular answer in a poll of the most recognizable brands in college football that surveyed high school recruits.
Brad Crawford of 247Sports took the poll and Auburn came in at No. 21.
Crawford's input: The arrival of Hugh Freeze should spike Auburn's national footprint if the Tigers can get this going quickly on the Plains under their next coach. Auburn won a national championship in 2010 and got back to the final game a few years later, but has fallen behind in college football's toughest division since with only one 10-win campaign since 2013.
The Tigers find themselves in eighth place among SEC teams behind Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
Mississippi State and South Carolina made the list behind Auburn, placing at No. 23 and No. 25 respectively.
Auburn is looking to get back on track after a less-than-ideal past few seasons. The Tigers have not made a late-season push in the SEC since 2019 which is something that fans of the program want to see soon.
Time will tell if Freeze can bring consistent success back to the Plains and bring Auburn to a higher ranking on polls like this one.
