Auburn Briefing: Four-star IOL DeAndre Carter receives another prediction to land at Auburn

DeAndre Carter is a four-star interior offensive lineman from Santa Ana, California.

He is ranked as the 103rd best player in the 247Sorts composite rankings but is 55th in their own rankings.

Carter is a massive lineman standing six-foot-four and weighing 340 pounds.

He is committing on September 3rd. The question is whether or not it will be to Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers.

As we get closer to his commitment date, Carter continues to receive more and more crystal balls/predictions to land at Auburn.

If Coach Freeze could pull this off, Carter would be one of the highest-ranked offensive line commits we have seen on the Plains in a really long time.

Carter has broken his three final schools down to Auburn, Michigan State, and Texas, so this recruitment is spread out over the map.

Carter would become the Tiger's 17th commit of the 2024 class if he chose Auburn and would slide them up a few spots in the rankings.

He would also help raise the average recruit ranking as he is one of the best players in the class.

If Hugh Freeze could pull it off, Carter would be right up there with Perry Thompson, Demarcus Riddick, and Walker White as one of the most significant additions to the 2024 recruiting class.
